‘A real show stopper’ and ‘the most beautiful horse they have ever seen’ are the type of sentences people have used to describe Torrijo, in his youth he was a fantastic dressage horse, ridden by big names such as Hannah Biggs and Ben St-John James. He was competed to Medium level and went to two Winter Dressage Finals. Standing at 17hh he is an imposing horse which oozes presence and nobility. He even had a page of write up in Horse and Hound magazine.

In his retirement he continues to be ridden and trained at home because he likes to work, it is so important to have a good work ethic in any horse, especially a dressage horse.

Due to his work load when he was in full time training we had very few opportunities to stand him at stud, therefore he has sired very few foals. However, he really ‘stamped’ the ones he did sire, they are tall, athletic and have the very same presence about them.
